8 week series - April 3rd - May 22nd

20 studio hours

This Spring we focus on using the potter's wheel to create bowls, drinking vessels and small plates. More advanced students will look at alterations, adding lids, spouts and throwing in multiple parts.  Personal expression will be encouraged through form, function and surface. Management of clay forms will be highlighted throughout to deepen our understanding of the stages of clay.

This class is suitable for new beginners, clay curious & clay lovers alike to build on previous skills and fulfill your creative visions. In this series, particpants will create an average of 6-12 finished pieces depending on skill and level of detail.

We've slightly shortened this class from a typical 3 hour session to 2.5 hours with consideration of night travel & bed time!
